During a prestigious gathering headed by the British Ambassador H.E. Tom Fletcher to honor the “2015 British Business Awards” winners, Mana Automotive, member of Tewtel Group of Companies and the exclusive distributor of Land Rover and Aston Martin in Lebanon, received a distinct award in the category of ‘Contributing to UK-Lebanon Relations’.

It comes in recognition for the group’s efforts in strengthening strategic relations between the United Kingdom (UK) and Lebanon. The ceremony was held on March 19, 2015, at the residence of the British Ambassador, and in presence of over a hundred prominent business partners and media figures.

This annual high profile ceremony recognizes excellence across the different sectors of British businesses and entrepreneurs, who continuously support Lebanon with their significant activities and investments despite the difficult economic conditions in the country. Playing a major role in the UK-Lebanon trade, Mana Automotive was awarded for the category of ‘Contribution to UK-Lebanon Relations’, for its efforts in backing up Lebanon’s stability through its activities, alongside Diageo’s Johnny Walker ‘Keep Walking’ campaign.

Addressing attendees, H.E. Tom Fletcher stated: “Today we honor exceptional entrepreneurs and corporations that are helping in increasing the trade activities between the UK and Lebanon to 200 per cent by next year. Exactly like the Lebanese people, Brits are natural traders and skilled in communicating and networking with others; cooperating together in synergy will help achieving wonderful results and further boost our bilateral ties.”

The British Ambassador announced launching of the UK-Lebanon Technology Hub, an initiative by the private sector supported by the British Embassy, aiming to help business owners accelerate their collaboration with British investors and businessmen. He added: “With the Technology Hub in place, we build an ideal platform that assist Lebanese entrepreneurs in connecting with pioneering British investors and corporations.”

Mr. Nadim Tewtel, President and Managing Director of Mana Automotive, commented on the occasion, stating that “It is a real honor for Mana Automotive to receive the British Business Award as it is testament to the quality and value of the services we provide as a representative of the most iconic British brands,” adding, “this is our sixth British Business Award, which confirms our commitment as a thriving business, working to bring the excellence of British industries to our Lebanese customers and serve as a facilitator to the development of mutual ties between our two countries.”

Established in 2001, Mana Automotive is the exclusive importer and distributor of Land Rover and Aston Martin in Lebanon. For the past 14 years, the company succeeded at establishing strong relations with its customers, sub-dealers and suppliers and has positioned itself as a leader in its segment.
