7 Questions with Qais al Khonji: He helps startups get started and more

Qais Al Khonji is an Omani businessman, entrepreneur and startup extraordinaire.

He is the founder of Qais United Enterprises Trading and Genesis International.

He serves as a board member for many Omani companies and is known for assisting Omani citizens with overcoming the hurdles of starting small businesses in the country.

AMEinfo asked Mr. Al Khonji 7 questions and below are his answers.

1 – What is the first thing that you do in the morning?

Pray, and go to the Gym very early.

2 – What is the best piece of business advice that has been given to you?

Believe in your idea, believe in your team, have a lot of patience.

Focus more on the services sector, preferably in oil and gas.

3 – If today was your last day on Earth, how would you spend it?

Spend it with my kids and loved ones, quality time somewhere in Barcelona.

4 – Who was the last person that you messaged and what did it say?

My close Friend, setting up for a bbq next week.

6 – What do you want tomorrow’s business world to look like?

I would love to see more start-ups coming up in Oman and the region. I would love to hear local and regional concepts have gone global.

7 – Tell us something that not many people know about you. . .

I spend up to 16 to 17 hours at work on a daily basis.
