Egypt’s three mobile operators, MobiNil, Vodafone Egypt, and Etisalat Egypt have withdrawn from the high-speed internet tender, accusing the communication ministry of favouring TE Data, Arab Finance has reported. The firms said the government is favouring TE Data and designed the tender to fit the company. If the dispute continues, it would lead to the failure of the unified licence and the freezing, or withdrawal, of international investments from Egypt, they said.
