Egypt’s National Telecoms Regulatory Authority (NTRA) has said it is set to reap 6% of fixed-line operator Telecom Egypt’s (TE) revenues from mobile services, once they are launched later this year, Ahram has reported. The regulator’s chief, Hisham El-Alayleyi, said last week that TE would be able to launch the new services within three months.
