Etisalat rewards and Jumeirah Sirius Points can now be swapped
Etisalat, the UAE’s leading telecom service provider and Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hotel company, have joined forces to make their rewards programmes inter-convertible. This is set to provide greater flexibility and increased benefits to members of the Etisalat Rewards and Jumeirah Sirius programmes.
Now all Etisalat Rewards members will be able to redeem their points for hotel stays, dining, shopping and relaxing in luxury at any of the Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts properties by simply converting their Etisalat reward points to Jumeirah Sirius points. They can also redeem points for airport transfers or spa visits. Similarly, Jumeirah Group Sirius members can convert their points to Etisalat Reward points and redeem them to buy the latest handsets, pay their Etisalat bills, shop at any of Etisalat’s 750 plus partner outlets in the UAE, on the Etisalat online rewards shop and the Etisalat rewards travel portal.
Khaled El Khouly, Chief Marketing Officer, Etisalat, said: “It has been our endeavour through the Etisalat Rewards programme to offer enhanced value to our customers by building segmented propositions in association with the best-in-class partners. Our partnership with Jumeirah Group will enhance our portfolio, as far as providing our valued customers the access to luxury services is concerned, whereas Jumeirah customers can enjoy the unparalleled benefits of the country’s only Telco-coalition rewards programme, the Etisalat rewards programme.”
Ayman Al Deik, Group Director of Brand loyalty and Partnership, Jumeirah, said: “This new venture rewards local Sirius members’ loyalty to the brand with an increased number of options. The move is in line with Jumeirah’s strategy to strengthen its partnership with brands that are customer centric. Now members of the loyalty schemes can enjoy the products of Jumeirah and Etisalat which also increases the local awareness and offerings of both brands.”
Customers can read more about the points conversions on the programme websites: www.etisalatrewards.ae and http://www.jumeirah.com/en/sirius/member-benefits/. The partnership also welcomes exclusive 1-to-1 propositions from the brands to the other’s customers.
Etisalat, the leading telecom operator in the UAE, launched the country’s first telecom rewards programme in 2008. The programme rewards its members on their total relationship with Etisalat by connecting all their accounts, thus earning points on all Etisalat services they use including Wasel prepaid, postpaid, landline and eLife. Over AED 200 million worth of reward points have been redeemed by members of the Etisalat Rewards programme since its inception. Customers may redeem Etisalat points to pay their Etisalat bills, recharge their phones and enjoy service bundles (Voice, SMS, Data) by simply dialling *122# from their mobile phones. They may also use their points to buy airline tickets or handset devices, shop online at the Etisalat Rewards Store or redeem points for gift vouchers from any of Etisalat’s 75 brand partners.
