Ooredoo secures QR1.81bn in Islamic loans

Qatari telecoms group, Ooredoo has signed three Commodity Murabaha facilities for QR1.81bn ($498m) with three local banks, Gulf Times has reported. The three facilities of nearly QR604m ($166m) each were agreed with Qatar Islamic Bank, Masraf Al-Rayyan and Barwa Bank. They have a tenor of one year and will be used for general corporate purposes, Ooredoo said.
