VIVA, KFA unveil new ‘VIVA Dawri’ shields

During the special ceremony, which was held at the Regency Hotel on Monday, 10 February, VIVA, one of Kuwait’s fastest-growing and most developed telecom operators, revealed the new VIVA Dawri shields and medals which will be used in all future matches, both locally and abroad.

VIVA also unveiled VIVA Dawri’s new anthem orchestra music together with the logo animation, as part of the company’s support of Kuwait’s National football team. The unveiling was attended by senior representatives from VIVA, the Kuwait Football Association (KFA), Kuwaiti sports personalities, as well as the press and bloggers.

Commenting on the occasion, KFA’s Chairman and Chairman of the National Olympic Committee, Sheikh Dr. Talal Al Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah said: “We are pleased to reveal today for the first time, the new VIVA Dawri shields and medals, as well as the anthem, which will be played at future matches along with the new animated logo. I am sure the new anthem and animation, together with the new VIVA Dawri shields and medals, will help to inspire our supporters and players and encourage even greater commitment to the future of football in Kuwait. This is an impressive feat by VIVA, and I thank them for their committed efforts to support teams at regional and international competitions. This will help us in meeting our objectives and usher the beginning of professionalism in sports marketing amongst the Kuwait’s football community.”

VIVA’s Chief Executive Officer, Eng. Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Badran said: “VIVA has made tremendous efforts since its inception to support the sports sector, and it will continue to help expand the sports movement and encourage the journey of Kuwaiti national teams as part of its corporate social responsibility strategy. We want the name of VIVA to become synonymous of sports sponsorship to all Kuwaiti football teams.”

With the partnership agreement, VIVA intends to present the VIVA League logo in continuation of its collaboration with KFA that was initiated in 2011.
