7 things that you NEED to know about the Dubai International Boat Show 2018

The Dubai International Boat Show is back this year, running from today, February 27, to March 3. AMEinfo has compiled a list of 7 things that you NEED to know about this year’s boat show.

1 – This year’s boat show has a new home, albeit temporary, located at the mouth of the Dubai Canal near Dubai ladies Club.

2 – 20 luxurious super yachts will be on display, including the stunning 86-metre Chakra by Scheepswerf Gebr. V.

3 – 43 launches from some of the industry’s biggest players, including Ferretti Yachts, Pirelli and Riva, will be made during the five-day event

4 – Entertainment by international sporting stars Bo Krook, Manea Al Marzooqi and Alex Mason will wow the crowds, with displays of flyboarding and slackline walking.

5 – Running alongside the boat show is the Dive Middle East Exhibition and the Supercar Promenade.

6 – The DXB Paddle Race will see 150 people race to the finish line in kayaks, canoes and paddle boats, while the Build-A-Boat competition will see competitors bidding to stay afloat

7 – The Dubai International Boat Show 2018 is open daily from 3pm to 9.30pm. Tickets are available upon entrance for AED65.
