APM Terminals welcomes MS Europa 2 at Khalifa Bin Salman Port

APM Terminals, Bahrain, the operators of Khalifa bin Salman Port (KBSP), and other government officials welcomed the luxurious cruise ship, MS Europa 2, at the Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KBSP) on Thursday 21st November 2013.

As part of its 8-day gulf tour itinerary, the luxury cruise ship sailed into Bahrain’s territorial waters from Doha, and docked for about 15 hours. During a brief ceremony held on-board the ship, the Captain, Friedrich Ian Akkermann was presented a plaque by Captain Adel Maskati, Marine and Harbour Manager at APM Terminals Bahrain to mark the vessel’s maiden visit to Bahrain. The cruise ship will spend a day at Oman before it returns to Dubai.
