Canadian firm clinches auto landing system deal for Kuwait International Airport

Canada’s Intelkan Technosystems Inc. has won a contract from Kuwait’s Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) for the implementation of an automated landing system at Kuwait International Airport, Kuna has reported. The scope of work includes the design, supply, installation, operation and maintenance of services and navigational systems for air traffic and supply of the latest aircraft landing systems. The deal also includes the supply of the latest devices to measure the distance to improve the capacity, safety and accuracy of overflight and landing of aircraft in the Kuwaiti airspace to the runways according to the standards and requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organisation.
