Dubai, India agree to increase seats by 100,000

Dubai has reached an agreement with India to raise by 11,000 the number of seats their airlines can operate between the two countries, Business Line has reported. Dubai also agreed to allow Indian carriers to change the aircraft they operate to the emirate. Currently, Air India, Air India Express, Jet Airways, SpiceJet and IndiGo operate regular flights to the emirate. The increase in the seats is to be in three phases, extending up to March 2015.
