Dubai Tram 93% on track for November opening

Mattar Al Tayer, chairman and executive director of Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has said that more than 90% of the construction work and testing on the Dubai Tram has been achieved, putting the project well on schedule for its November opening this year, Gulf News has reported. The entire Dubai Tram project has now hit a 93% completion rate, Al Tayer added. Once completed, the project will connect areas in new Dubai, which is a hub of big residential, commercial and tourism projects such as Dubai Marina, Media City, Internet City, Knowledge Village and a number of luxury hotels.
