Gulf Air announced that it has released “EthicsPoint” a third party, anonymous, internet-based reporting tool designed to help ensure greater transparency in the airline’s operations, delivering on one of the objectives of the national carrier’s successful 2013 strategic restructuring, Arabian Aerospace reported. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, deputy Prime Minister and chairman of Gulf Air’s Board of directors, said: “When Gulf Air first commenced its strategic restructuring, we committed to ensuring greater transparency in the airline’s operations and to empowering every member of the Gulf Air family to voice their concerns, positive suggestions and feedback. Today I’m pleased to announce that we are delivering on that promise. We are committed to cultivating a positive work environment and building a culture of integrity and ethical decision-making that extends the airline executive management team’s open door policy and provides a new level of support for each member of the national carrier’s workforce.”
