Jazeera Airways Group inaugurated four new gates equipped with two state-of-the-art bridges at Kuwait International Airport. The gates are exclusively operated by the airline, and enable Jazeera Airways to offer an even better and more efficient customer experience.

The new gates are part of the airline’s investment in on-ground facilities to capitalize on Kuwait’s growing domestic traveling population. The gates, named Gate B1, B2, B3 and B4, lift the capacity at Kuwait International Airport, the country’s only passenger airport, by 30%.

Jazeera Airways Group Chairman, Marwan Boodai, said, “This latest investment in dedicated gates compliments a series of other investments in the Jazeera Airways’ value offering in the air, online, and now on-ground.”

The airline has invested heavily in boosting its customer offering in recent years, from installing online and self-check-in facilities, to securing a flow of new aircraft deliveries, with three brand new Airbus A320s joining its fleet in the last 12 months alone. The four gates launched today at Kuwait International Airport are an integral component of the airline’s bolstered customer offering.

Boodai added: “Today, Jazeera Airways passengers are the only passengers in Kuwait who can book with their mobile phone, check-in online or in person using the airport kiosk, board through an exclusive gate and state-of-the-art bridges, and fly on brand new aircraft.”

Jazeera Airways Group is a Kuwait Stock Exchange-listed company with a fleet of 15 wholly-owned Airbus A320s, through its wholly-owned leasing-arm Sahaab Aircraft Leasing. Sahaab has assets placed with Virgin America, SriLankan Airlines, Flynas, TAP Portugal and Jazeera Airways.

The airline operates seven Airbus A320s with a two-class cabin comprising a Business Class and an Economy Class. Business Class travelers get both an upgraded experience and exclusivity, starting with exclusive check-in lines, business lounge access, up to 60 kilograms in free baggage allowance, and an exclusive on-board cabin. The airline’s Economy Class offers travelers free baggage allowance of 40 kilograms and free on-board meals with a changing menu every month.

Jazeera Airways is based in Kuwait and serves 20 popular destinations in the Middle East from Kuwait comprising high-demand business, leisure, family, and weekend destinations such as Dubai, Bahrain, Beirut, Alexandria, Amman, Istanbul, Sharm El Sheikh, Assiut, Luxor, Mashhad, Sohag, Jeddah, Riyadh, Cairo and Al Najaf.
