Oman’s transport ministry has said it has completed testing the automated landing system of the new runway at the Muscat International Airport in preparation for the opening of the first stage of the project, Oman Daily Observer has reported. The next stage would involve moving towards air testing such as calibrating navigational aid devices and runway lighting, in addition to the take-off and landing tests, said the ministry.
