Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the launch of new flights between Sharjah and four different cities of Pakistan from March 30, Gulf Today has reported. The airline has been already operating three flights from Sharjah to Turbat, Balochistan, and from March 30, the four new destinations, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Multan, will be added to benefit the Pakistani community residing in Sharjah and other Northern Emirates. “Besides these four new flights, 14 flights presently operating from the Dubai International Airport will be shifted to Sharjah from May 1, as the authorities have announced the closure of a major portion of the airport’s runway for repairs for a couple of months,” said PIA’s regional manager, Syed Ishaq Hussain.
