Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa has achieved an occupancy rate over 70% per cent since it was launched four months ago.
The high rate was a result of an upsurge in activity in Dubai and the distinguished facilities and services offered by the hotel, its general manager Jean Francois Laurent told journalists during a dinner reception on Monday night.

He said most of the hotel’s visitors are from the Gulf Cooperation Council, Europe, Russia and Asian countries, adding that he expects a further increase in the occupancy rate because of planned activities in the emirate this year.

“We expect strong performance this year and the following years as Dubai is set to witness a boom in tourism and other activities after it won a bid to host the World Expo 2020,” he said.

Perched on the eastern crescent of the iconic Palm Jumeirah, an archipelago of islands connected to the mainland, Anantara Dubai The Palm Resort & Spa is a remarkable resort inspired by traditional Thai architecture in an Arabian setting.
