Egypt targets 2 million Arab tourists by the end-2014

Egypt’s tourism ministry has said the number of Arabs visiting the country by the end of the year is expected to reach around two million tourists, Daily News Egypt has reported. The ministry has launched a campaign in the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to attract a larger demographic of their citizens to visit Egypt this summer, it said. The “Wahashtona,” or “We Miss You”, campaign was rolled out at the beginning of May to attract Saudi and Emirati nationals to visit the cities of Hurghada and Sharm El-Sheikh during the summer.
