InterContinental Hotels Group Cairo Citystars signs protocol with Egyptian Food Bank

In continuing efforts to help the community, InterContinental Cairo Citystars, Holiday Inn Cairo Citystars and Staybridge Suites Cairo Citystars signed a protocol to support the Egyptian Food Bank in their outstanding efforts to end hunger in Egypt.

The signing ceremony took place in Abdeen ball room at InterContinental Cairo Citystars where the protocol was signed by Simon Stamper, Regional General Manager InterContinental Hotels Group Egypt, Lebanon & Jordan and Mr. Moez El Shohdy, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Egyptian Food Bank.

Egyptian Food Bank is a charitable entity aimed at the supply and delivery of food to orphans, elders, widows, needy families and persons incapable of work or profit. EFB is sponsored by a number of private sector companies, in collaboration with volunteer individuals. The EFB idea is set on accepting monetary and material donations as well as unused or extra foods, through collection from different entities, companies, organizations or individuals and making use of it by offering healthy meals on periodical schedules to the true needy.

The ceremony was attended by the three hotels employees who were very impressed by the brief presentation given by Mr. Moaz Shohdy about the achievements and the results of the Egyptian Food Bank continuous efforts.
