Saudi Food, Hotel and Hospitality Arabia 2014 opens its doors Sunday
Offering the widest possible range of products and services under one roof, Saudi Arabia’s annual Food, Hotel And Hospitality Arabia, in its 19th successful edition, is geared up to welcome thousands of expected visitors from Saudi Arabia and throughout the region when doors open on Sunday.
Organized by Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE) and under the patronage of the Ministry of Agriculture, the 2014 edition of one of the region’s prime trade shows will run from April 13 to 16 featuring over 400 exhibition booths from Turkey, China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Jordan, USA and other local Saudi companies.
Saudi Arabia’s 19th International Event for Food, Beverages and Catering, Hotel Equipment, Supplies and Services will be inaugurated by the Director General for Agriculture Affairs and official spokesman in Mecca Hassan bin Obaid Snicov and attended by diplomats, dignitaries, businessmen and experts from the food and hospitality sector.
“The Saudi food, hotel & hospitality Arabia Fair has proven to be a highly anticipated event benefitting both the tourism and business sectors in Saudi Arabia. It brings together a large number of participating countries from across the globe, while spreading Jeddah’s name as a premier business and tourism hub in the region,” said Zahoor Siddique, Vice President of Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE).
The 2014 fair will provide a vast trade and sourcing platform for exporters, buyers, exhibitors and visitors alike, as well as hosting a number of lucrative networking opportunities, competitions and live events.
As part of its extended five-day format, Saudi food, hotel & hospitality Arabia will host Jeddah open cooking championship & art de table competition which gathers professional chefs, who work in five star hotels and restaurants to showcase their creations. The competition sponsored and organized by Nestle.
It is worth noting that the Saudi Arabia food forecast consumption has been grown since 2012 by an enviable 55.3% to reach a value of SR248bn outperforming other regional markets.
The exhibition will run until Wednesday April 16 from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Jeddah Center for Forums and Events.
